G.E.M.s (Growing and Encouraging Mothers): GEMs exists to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. The GEMs format includes food and fellowship, teaching from a biblical perspective, small group discussions, and creative activities (crafts). Cost is $ 3.00 per meeting. Nikki Pendelton, Coordinator - 471-4843 Jo Russell, Titus Woman – 479-1856 Schedule is as follows (Sept.-May):
· 1st Thursday of each month: 9:00 -11:30 a.m. at the church
· 3rd Thursday of each month: 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the church
Creative Workshops We meet the 2nd Saturday of the month, September through May. There are three workshops that meet at 9 am in Room 4. Please bring a potluck dish and any needed supplies. If you would like more information contact Judy Floyd (quilting) at 471-2187, Barbara Miller (knitting/crocheting)at 472-0934, or Niece Whaley (scrapbooking) at 476-4762. Workshops are open for ages 8 and up!
Women's Bible Studies Weekly Bible studies are offered throughout the year. Current studies being offered are as follows:
· Tuesday Women’s Bible Study: 9:30 am - Daniel Precept Study - Room 12 - Ancient Paths for Modern Women - Room 4 9:45 am - 1 Corinthians Women’s Study - Fellowship Hall
· Mom’s Place: This study meets in the white house behind the church at 6:30 pm on Tuesday evenings running on the AWANA schedule.
Other annual Women’s Ministries events offered are: O.W.O.W. Conference (Oregon Women of the Word), Women’s Retreat (in the fall) and Ladies’ Tea (in the Spring).
